Big news!
No, I'm not pregnant. Grant is officially out of diapers and potty trained!! We started at the beginning of the summer so it's been a gradual process but I can say that it really hasn't been that bad. I think he was really ready when we started so that made it easier. I started by just taking the diaper off and letting him run around the house with just a t-shirt on and taking him to the potty frequently. When he took a nap or when we went out I would put him in pull-ups. I know every child is different but that way worked for us! Good luck to all you other moms out there who are potty training your little ones!

Congrats! So exactly how old was Grant when you started potty training? Wesley just turned two, and I thought it was too early to try, but he's been telling us when he goes potty in his diaper, so last week be bought him one of those little potty seats that fits over the toilet. He got to pick out the one he wanted, and was so excited he could barely wait for us to get it out of the package. He ran directly to the toilet and put it on the seat, and I'm thinking, "wow, he's going to love going potty like a big boy." Then we tried to set him on it. He practically wrapped his legs around his neck to avoid being set down. Oh well... so potty training's not a go in the Rogers house at this time!
Congratulations! That is a BIG deal for a mom...I know this with two hard-to-train boys!
Congrats on the pregnancy...er, I mean potty training! Ha! I dread trying to train Clayton. He's so stinkin' strong-willed and I know it will probably be a battle.
That's so exciting for y'all. I can't remember what it's like just to have one in diapers. Thanks for the advice!

haven't been blogreading much lately but I was glad to catch up with you! you looked beautiful in Cancun. Our babies are almost the same age! Weird because I feel like yours should be so much older (we've only had Sophie 3 months). :)
